_DAY 2_
On #day2, dated 8th May (Friday), we were asked to wash the girls' school shoes and that was considered as the second time in my 19++ lifetime to wash shoes (First time was just simply immersing the shoes in soap water and simply cleaning the shoes until no bubbles could be seen and then simply drying the shoes under hot sun). The first response from me was, "What?! Seriously?!!". Btw, MJ was also a beginner in shoe washing. So, we ended up.....
Holding shoes awkwardly, and trying to make ourselves comfortable in weird positions ._.
After that, we were asked to wash the kids' white uniforms which were already immersed in clorox. This was the moment I, "What?! Seriously?!!", again because I was told by mum since I was small that clorox are poisonousness and corrosive or whatever in which I dare not and had never touched it before. However, MJ bravely took one of the clothes out and rinsed it using water. Surprised by her brave act, I slowly picked up a baju, and slowly I rinsed water on it. This process was repeated a few times until all clothes were clean and hanged. Then we went to the Boys' Home to prepare for dancing session. We showed the kids some of our MHS dance and cute dances in which they followed us. SO CUTE!! After that was sharing session. We taught the kids some of our MHS cheers. However, the kids were only interested in ASTAR's clapping cheers. Some of the kids were really fast-learners and they tried to guide the others who couldn't catch up. At the end of our visit on that day, the kids promised that they would practise for the clapping cheers and they wanted to challenge us during our next visit! This was when we found out that the kids were really hoping for us to come back and our bonding was growing stronger than the first day :)
The kids also showed us their Dikir Barat performance and I was like WOW. They were SO amazing. After that, Nazim and Jacky joined in to play.

<--- Nazim's talent appeared!
Jacky was a fast learner! --->

There was this child, Andrew who got chickenpox and was really happy about it, made me feel proud of him. Unlike normal children who will cry, keep themselves in bed or complain the itchiness caused by chickenpox, Andrew was still energetic and kept 'threatening' and telling others that he had the 'chickenpox-power'. He was so optimistic. I am so proud of him.
