Yesterday was our second last visit to the Rumah juara for our social engagement course, it was very reminiscing experience as it brought some old memories. the first time i visited there was about a month ago and now after one month we already had reached the end of our little story, I believe all of us have our stories which includes a lots of chapters and pages, its interesting how we can metaphorically relate life to a book, millions of lives, millions of books but a common writer, and a good one indeed.
About yesterday when we arrived at Rumah Juara again we started with cleaning the house and doing the laundry, I was doing the laundry along with my other friends Safiuddin aka Guns and JS Lee. It wasn't a pleasant experience if you ask me and me being completely honest, but the satisfaction you get after being useful and to those who are in need is something that i cannot express using words, lets just say its one of the most happiest moment of a mans life, and i am very grateful that I felt it.
After the laundry and other house chores we sat next to the kids and taught them some origami Art, it didn't went pretty well as none of us really had an idea how its done, except for my colleague Jacky tong he did made an impressive rose, the kids were as usual very humble and grateful, finding reasons to smile and make others smile. It was a great experience to be helping these wonderful kids and feeling useful. Really cant believe it is over already,but as they say "nothing last forever" after a certain time things change and life moves on and we are left with nothing except the nostalgic memories.
